For decades, mortgage lenders have had only two realistic choices for Program & Pricing Engine technology: build and maintain an expensive proprietary system in-house, or rent one from a third-party provider for as long as they remain in business.
PPE1 was created to break that model entirely — a true market disruptor built on ownership, not rent.
It is the fourth — and most advanced — Program & Pricing Engine I have built across my forty years in mortgage banking, and the first designed to be owned outright, through open-source license or acquisition. PPE1 was not created to become another hosted pricing service. It was created to give lenders the opportunity to own the technology behind one of the most critical functions in mortgage banking.
